What does a highly advanced civilization have to do to get noticed around here?
DIRECTED BY MARTIN SCORSESE
BACKGROUND
A website presence legitimizes any individual or business. We wanted to show how Squarespace products can get you noticed in a world filled with distractions. We found the solution in the news. During the summer of 2023, a congressional hearing was held to present proof of UFOs. Despite the evidence, everyone went on with their own lives. It wasn’t enough to get the public's attention. So, we thought, what would make people pay attention to the presence of UFOs? A Squarespace website.
IDEA
In our film, a UFO hovers over crowds in major cities across the globe. The people in the crowds continue to look down at their phones and laptops, engrossed in memes and other digital distractions, until their phones glitch and reveal a Squarespace website designed by the extraterrestrials to introduce themselves. We continued to use Squarespace tools to attract attention in a product film starring director Martin Scorsese, a special-edition template filled with intergalactic messaging, and social posts.
